Anonymous questions for college classes

In most lectures, the question that matters goes unasked. A Poocho link lets students ask without raising a hand or giving a name, so you can clear up the confusing part before the exam does.

Four ways to use it

  • Muddiest point. At the end of a lecture, ask “What was least clear today?” and open the next class with the top three.
  • Before exams. Run an “ask anything about the paper” link for a week and publish the answers so everyone sees them.
  • Seniors' AMA. Final-year students answer first-years' questions about placements, hostels and electives.
  • Office hours. Keep a standing link for the questions people are embarrassed to ask in person.

Set up in two minutes

  1. Create your link

Claim a link on Poocho with a prompt like “What confused you in today's lecture?”.

  2. Share it

Put it on your last slide, in the class WhatsApp group or on the LMS.

  3. Answer

Read questions in your inbox and answer in class, or publish written answers on your page.

Why anonymity helps

Students worry about sounding slow in front of their classmates. Take the name away and that cost disappears, so you hear about the confusing part while there's still time to fix it. The filter keeps the occasional joker out of your inbox.

No. They open the link, type a question and send it.

Can I see which student asked?

Yes.
